AndaSeat has unveiled the design philosophy behind its new Phantom 4 Series, an ergonomic seating solution crafted to accommodate the natural movements of users engaged in activities such as working, gaming, and reading. Recognizing that individuals frequently shift positions rather than maintaining a static posture, the Phantom 4 Series aims to provide continuous support while allowing movement without constant manual adjustments.
Central to this design is the Dynamic Auto-Tracking Lumbar system, which offers users the ability to select their preferred lumbar support from 15 locking positions within a 0–95 mm range. The lumbar structure can swivel approximately 5 degrees to either side and tilt within a 25-degree forward-and-back range, ensuring contact is maintained as the user shifts their torso.
The chair’s ergonomic design is complemented by a 55 kg/m³ cold-cure foam seat, providing a stable base. Both the Phantom 4 and the Phantom 4 Pro chairs are equipped to recline up to 135 degrees and offer approximately 15 degrees of rocking motion, allowing users to adjust their seating posture with ease.
Differentiating the two models, the Phantom 4 features 2D armrests with forward-back and vertical adjustments, an adjustable memory-foam head pillow, and a butterfly tilt mechanism. In contrast, the Phantom 4 Pro enhances user experience with 3D 360-degree rotating armrests, expanded adjustment ranges, and a multifunctional tilt mechanism with tilt-lock functionality.
