Indiana Firms Gain Free AI Strategy Insights from NevTech AI Initiative

by admin477351

An Indianapolis-based company, NevTech AI, is offering a new initiative aimed at helping small and mid-sized businesses in Indiana navigate the complexities of artificial intelligence (AI). Known as the AI Roadmap program, this initiative provides a complimentary 30-minute AI strategy session. During these sessions, businesses can identify three workflows that have the potential for automation, along with estimated savings and costs for implementing these changes.

The AI Roadmap program emerges as a response to the growing challenges small businesses face in adopting AI technologies. A survey conducted by Simply Business in 2026, which included 1,047 U.S. small business owners, revealed that while 62% of respondents reported using AI, its application is often limited to simple tasks like generating ideas or drafting emails. The major hurdles to broader AI adoption include concerns about AI inaccuracies in critical tasks, data security issues, and an overall uncertainty about where to start.

Cody Neville, the founder and CEO of NevTech AI, emphasizes the practical experience his company brings to the table. “Most of the people pitching AI to business owners have never had to make payroll,” he said. NevTech’s approach stands out because they have implemented automation within their own companies and the businesses they serve. This practical experience allows them to discuss real workflows with business owners, rather than theoretical demonstrations.

The company’s methodology starts with mapping a business’s existing workflows instead of focusing on a specific software product from the outset. This strategy ensures that employees remain an integral part of the process, particularly in areas where human oversight is crucial, such as tasks that could impact customers or patients. NevTech also offers ongoing support, including training and assistance with technology adoption post-implementation. Neville points out that “most technology projects fail in the rollout, not the code,” highlighting the importance of successful integration into daily operations.

NevTech’s automation solutions cater to various industries, including food and beverage, commercial equipment services, healthcare, and municipal operations. Their systems enhance functions such as inbound call handling, quoting, follow-up routing, and reporting. Notably, their AI receptionist service, which operates 24/7 to capture inquiries that might otherwise go to voicemail, is already being utilized by local practices and trade businesses. The AI Roadmap sessions are open to Indiana businesses of any size, and participants may also bring proposals from other AI consultants or vendors for discussion during the session.
